Visiting my hometime after a long time was both exciting and emotional for me.I listened so many stories about this small town in the memories of my dad.It wasn't a happy visit as my sister and I went there to have my mum's and dad's resting places built. It was just a lovely small Anatolian town with its own characteristics where all the people living in there were very familiar to each other or relatives.You could feel the friendly and benevolent atmosphere whereever you went.

ŞARKIŞLA -MY HOMETOWN

How much I liked looking at this photo. Sarkisla is a lovely place, with plenty of space and greenery among the houses - and that special Anatolian background of hills on the skyline.
