Quınce marmalade

 It is the time of making quince marmalade.
I grated two quinces and boiled it for half an hour then add the sugar,one and half water glass of sugar would be enough, and I added the seeds  as well to colour well.
I continued boiling till it got thicken,I sometimes stirred it.
Here it is but ıt did not come out red as as I expected .I do not know why.May be the quinces were different from the ones I tried before..but it tastes delicious:)

I enjoyed doing handicrafts since my childhood.These are the pictures my latest  embroidery I have finished recently.
I should be proud of myself,shouldn't I?

TULLE CURTAIN

 I haven't been blogging for quite a  long time as I had no time because of my hectic life.And I feel quite happy  now that I could make it and found  time to add a few pictures I took early in the morning.
Watching my district  wrapped in mist has become a morning joy to me because it is a rare occasion around here and it is considered it is the sign of Spring will soon be here.
I hope ıt rains enough in Spring as it has been much needed for the lands.

Women's open bazaar!

 I sometimes go to women's open bazaar on Wednesdays for  having lunch and for shopping.I buy homemade cakes,pies or traditional food  and  wool productions made by housewomen. And I can't easily decide on what to eat as all the food I see  are appetizing. One  already  can feel hungry when she/he  walks between the stands.The woman with the scarf is my favourite  one because she always wears a scarf when she cooks .
I appreciate her work to contribute to her family income.
The man ,who newly retired, behind her helps her serving the food she makes.It is usually crowded at lunch time because the  working people around that area come to the bazaar at lunch time knowing they will find delicious food to eat.They also sell wool handmade cardigans,bonnets,booties and small blankets for babies,shawls,vests ,socks for elderlies.
They were all pleased when I took their pictures while they were working by their stands.
It has been great help to the women who do not have time to do all these handmade productions and homemade food who want to make for their families.

If they don't have anything you want,they immediately get it for you  from the neighbour stand .
I believe  in all women in the world  have the strength to cope with  the difficuties of life.

LONG HOT SUMMER DAYS

 I haven't been around for long! I feel happy to be able to share   something on my blog now.We had a baking hot summer time,the only nice event was being together with my sweeties . our summer house located by the Mediteranian cost where you could see eagles gliding or hear howling owles at nights or singing nightingales at dawn as the site surrounded thick pine wood.

We all enjoyed our time at the beach and sipped our refreshments under pine trees and chatting,swimming ,reading and playing  in water with two little girls was my only joy.

Watching my sweeties grow and teaching and explaining them,sharing some activities were marvellous!
The beach was also a meeting up stop  for the site inhabitants.You could hear grannies and grandads talking about grandchildren which was the only  common subject between them.

Here it is another view of the site ,it looks like a paradise,doesn't it?

We  already said bye to February of 2013 .I realized that I haven't been here for a while for long just because of my very busy daily routine. I may be do not know how to use the time efficiently! I just feel missing my summer times  very much when I look at the pictures of our summer site.
