Mavi Kent-cennetten bir köşe !

Her yaz olduğu gibi bu yazı da geçirmek üzere saklı cennet gibi olan Akdeniz kıyısında Mavi Kent sitesindeyim.Kalabalıktan uzak,doğa ile başbaşa olmak,çam havası ,temiz deniz ,sakin yaşam insanı adeta dinçleştiriyor.

Sweet guest of mine!

It has been a long time I couldn't access my blog.I am happy to able to now.I have still a busy life.I am not complaining about it but I realize that 24 hours is not enough.My only granddaughter visited me for a week of stay.We had missed each other very much.So that I tried to enjoy every minute of her stay. I let her play with her friends as long as she wanted.We went to the nearest park and play ground where she liked very much to play with sand.I believed that she was so happy with me as she did not ask for her parents.She knew she would be back after a week of stay.She is a quite clever little sweety of mine .

My latest hobby

I have been wondering how to knit socks with 5 kneedle since my childhood.I searched for it on the internet craft blogs and found the best explanation in Nesrin Küche's blog whom I owe her a big thank.I am going to kneet a pair of socks for the little members of my family.I may make slippers adding a leather sole underneath of the socks for the small feet of my granddaughter!

How quick the time passed!

When I cuddled my grandaughter for the first time,she was just a tiny little girl.It is hard to believe that she has grown up and started nursery school.She is happy at school,if only ıt was easier to wake her up,and dress for the school.

There is always a battle between Eylül and her parents at the door as she wants to make a paper flower for her teacher at the last moment.She looks pleased because she has the flower in her bag she made last night.

Days with Fedo at Güzel Çamlı

It was worth every minute of staying and visiting Fedo(Fedakar) in her lovely summer house.She was a friend of mine from the college in 1970 ies.But we have found each other after almost forty years later via Computer and have become close friends.Surprisingly,we did not meet in summers although we were at the same area for long years.She met us at the airport with a board her usual smile on her face.She must have spent hours in the kitchen.

She had cooked her specialities and filled her freezer up before we came as she wanted to spend more time with us and chat about our old days rather than cooking in the kitchen.Listening to music with the candles on ,toasting for health was memorable ambience for all of us.It was reunion of old friends who were looking forward to getting together at her home for a while .I will miss her and her lovely summer house with an amazing sea view.

Thank you Fedo for all your kind and warm hospitality.You were the most beautiful and the best host I have ever met.

Kuşadası-Güzel Çamlı

Güzel Çamlı is a very beatiful summer site at Kuşadası by the Aegean sea.My visit to a close friend who has got a house just by the sea in the site was wonderful.I enjoyed walking and I could snap the moon rise and the sunset that was amazing sipping wine and watching .I sometimes noticed that pale moon was still in the sky while the sunrising.

My creation with shells.

It was rather hot to go for a walk or do gardening for me after the early morning swimmings.I enjoyed reading the books I wanted to but I felt bored sometimes and played with the shells I collected.I liked them there on side of the stairs.
There is plenty room to design more.I will complete it next summer .Am I a talented woman ha ha ?
