Beth and I have been friends for a long time.She is a special woman with an intellectual and creative mind.She has the ability of creating a story even from a word she hears.

I knew she was going to be a Regency Time novelist.

The Wild Card is her first book that Ienjoyed reading very much.In All Honour is her second book that you can not put it down easily when you read.Then came the third one.April& May.I have not read it yet but I am looking forward to reading it soon.She is having a Book Launch at the library in Reading-England.I am sure all her books will be sold out immediately.Congratulatings and good luck to you Beth Elliot.

Dreams dreams ...!

As the weather gets warmer,I have started dreaming of being there ,at MAVİ KENT.
I have missed swimming in cristal clear water and chatting and drinking refreshment in the shadow of pine trees at the beach.

Oh my balkony!I wonder what can be better and restful than drinking tea at my balkony after swimming.I have another dream.My granddaughter will be here soon.My husband and I are looking forward to her visit and the time we will spent with her.

My jolly flowers

I love all kinds of flowers.They are the taste of nature even though you grow them in pots or greet them wherever they are. Aren't they gorgeous?

Early Morning Walks

There is a small but lovely park close to

my home.

I enjoy walking early in the morning while ıt is quiet.Breathing fresh air makes my spirit up and energetic all day long.

Taking pretty pictures of flowers is a joy for me. Poppies greet me every morning.

Days in Bursa

Bursa is one of the oldest and historical cities in Turkey. It was the first capital city of Ottoman Empire.

we old friends from the college met up in Bursa to watch the play Puşude-i -Siyah written by Zerrin Tığlıoğlu who was also an old friend.The play was about Turkish War of Indepence.We all were impressed and were in tears when the curtain of the stage closed down.We congratulated her on her success and felt proud of her very much.We took a sightseeing tour she planned and visited;İnkaya Plane,the branches of which were at least 600 metres long.It was impossible not to feel respectful to its age.

We loved the small village Cumalıkızık and its narrow streets where we could see old Ottoman houses.We enjoyed buying local people's products as well.

Umurbey Hamamı,Car Museum,Ömür Köftecisi were other interesting historics we visited.My husband and I were also proud of our daughter when we saw the shopping center called Korukent the project of which drawn by her.

Zerrin gave us a tea party at her beautifiul house after the play.We old friends felt touchy when Fedakar presented her our plaque that we prepared for her.We had our shares from her table where you could see all homemade cookies and dishes on.The ladies in the picture were young girls once,most of them are grannies now! It was so nice to talk about our old days in Erzurum that made us feel young again.

We thanked Zerrin for 3 nice days we spent in Bursa and congratulated her for her achivement.
I am sure she will write more as she has
a powerful inspiration and knowledge about Turkish History.

Annual KEBAP DAY at Science High School!

It was another excited and emotional day for me.Being among my old students and receving appreciations of them made me feel so good.I was delighted to learn their success in life.I also had the opportunity to chat with my old collegues at the annual KEBAP day .
